The “Antonella Bechi Piaggio” Piaggio Historical Archives is open by appointment from Wednesday to Friday (from 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.).
Authorization signed by the President of the Piaggio Foundation is necessary to access the archives. Written application must be faxed (0587.290057) or e-mailed (archivio@museopiaggio.it), specifying the purpose of the work, personal data, and requesting an appointment.
Following the request and subsequent authorization, access to the "Antonella Bechi Piaggio" Piaggio Historical Archives is subject to a € 30,00 contribution (except for students, professors, journalists, scientists with nonprofit purposes).
Possible researches on commission are subject to a € 50,00 payment, plus € 15,00 for each hour needed to the research.
Documents in bad conditions, technical sketches, as well as documents with new and sensitive data are excluded from consultation and reproduction.
Customarily, loan of papers, photographs or audiovisual material is not allowed
Access and reproduction of photographs, advertising material and other kept in the Piaggio Historical Archives are subject to the following expenses:
- Students (graduation thesis and non-commercial researches): free admission, digital reproduction € 2,50/each (low resolution images);
- Journalists and Press: free admission and free digital reproduction;
- Scientists for non-commercial purposes: free admission, digital reproduction € 15,00 (low resolution images);
- Papers, journals and commercial use: admission with € 30,00 fee, digital reproduction € 50,00 for circulation from 500 to 2500 copies in just one language (high resolution images); € 75,00 for circulation over 2500 copies or in more than one language or worldwide distribution (high resolution images);
- Collectors or passionates for restorations and interventive conservation: admission with € 30,00 fee or research on commission (see above); reproduction expenses change according to the request: certificate of origin, certified copy of the use and maintenance and garage manuals (ph. 800818298; www.it.piaggio.com).

Materials kept in the Historical Archives and in the Piaggio Museum are property of Piaggio & C. SpA. Every request of usage, loan or reproduction is subject to prior authorization, granted on the basis of the above-mentioned specific procedure.
