Historical archive gallery
A historical survey of the Piaggio Company through documents and pictures, on a path that winds its way through almost seventy years of Italian history. The visit is intended to provide a lively and full profile of the different production sectors of the Company from 1884 until the Second World War, from ship fitting to the railway sector, to significant aircraft manufacturing, including the best known and beloved Piaggio products, the Vespa, in a broader context of outstanding entrepreneurial creativity and intuition that is still lasting in time.
The halls contain the rich and admired Vespa collection, the Piaggio three and four wheels collection (Ape, Porter, mopeds) and numerous pieces belonging to the motorcycle and sport history of the Group brands: Aprilia, Gilera and Moto Guzzi. The visit describes the technical and design evolution of the vehicles on show, offering a path full of anecdotes and unpublished information.
The tours take place only by appointment from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10a.m to 6 p.m. First visit in the morning at 10 a.m, last at 11.30 a.m, first visit in the afternoon at 2.30 p.m, last at 4.00 p.m. No guided tours on Sundays and special openings.
30 euro for groups from 1 to 10 people + 3 euro each for group with more than 10 people
20 euro for groups from 1 to 10 students + 2 euro each for group with more than 10 students
