History
This is the only remaining specimen of four experimental Vespa scooters built in 1985 (the engine test is dated 11 December 1985). The other three were demolished and the fourth survived "by chance" (it was the so-called "back up" which was not used to race). Piaggio built these scooters for the Paris-Dakar race, but then decided to abandon the project and demolish the vehicles.
